The third edition of The Clean Fight will take place in collaboration with NY BEST and Binghamton University, bringing incredible energy storage technical expertise, resources and networks in New York State for selected companies to tap into.
NEW YORK BATTERY AND ENERGY STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CONSORTIUM
The New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology (NY-BEST) Consortium is a non-profit corporation founded in 2010 in collaboration with New York State and NYSERDA to catalyze and grow the energy storage industry and position New York State as a global leader in storage technology including applications in transportation, grid storage, and power electronics.
Binghamton University is a world-class institution that offers students a broad, interdisciplinary education with an international perspective and one of the most vibrant research programs in the nation. Binghamton is known for fostering a thriving cleantech ecosystem from research on battery chemistries to support of entrepreneurs and cleantech startups, and is home to the 2019 Nobel Laureate inventor of the Li-ion battery Stanley Whittingham.
NEW ENERGY NEXUS
is an international not-for-profit that strives towards an abundant world with a 100% clean energy economy for 100% of the population in the shortest time possible.
New Energy Nexus funds, connects, and grows diverse entrepreneurs to drive innovation and build equity into the global clean energy economy. Started fifteen years ago as the California Clean Energy Fund, New Energy Nexus was and is an integral part of the state’s energy uptake, sourcing, supporting and investing in companies such as Tesla. New Energy Nexus now operates programs in China, India, Southeast Asia, East Africa and the US.
NEW YORK STATE ENERGY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to advance clean energy innovation and investments to combat climate change, improving the health, resiliency, and prosperity of New Yorkers and delivering benefits equitably to all.
NYSERDA offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and support to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. NYSERDA has been advancing energy solutions and working to protect the environment since 1975.
